I have a crockpot with a cracked ceramic liner. Is it okay to use a crockpot liner in hot process soapmaking? It worked okay with family dinners, but I have another pot for food. Just want to use my old pot for soap. Anyone want to help me out?

I'm going to begin soapmaking (for myself and family) this next week.

is there a temperature max on the liner? I would think it would be fine although ive never used one. If you try it let me know how it works. sure would make clean up easier

I know a lot of HP soapers that use the liners, however, me personally, I would think it'd be hard to stir with the liner, so you may need to get it trace before you put it in the lined crock, and then just leave it alone until it's time to pour.

For me, that's too much work, and I'd just pour the traced soap in molds and call it a day.
