I've made salt bars before , but never hot process. Reason is I want to put in some lovely EO,s that I have. anyone tried this? Also I have some Shea butter and I would like to add that as the super fat. Should I not do this or stick to CO as the SF

I've done HP salt bars and I liked the way they turned out. I don't remember anything special about the process.

I also have done them HP. I increase the water a little and only use 35-50% salt. I would not use shea, butters are not very good in salt bars for some reason. My favorite recipe is 80% CO, 20% OO.

Ok. I'll stick to just CO then 80%. And another soft oil for the 20%
