Holiday memories

My friend and I were just talking about this so I thought I'd bring it up here as well. What is your favorite holiday memory? For me it was helping my mom set up the Christmas decorations when i was a kid. I don't know why this stands out for me, i guess it just got me all excited for the holidays. Seeing the tree all lit up just seemed so magical to me. Anyway, what is your favorite christmas memory?

Growing up my family had a cabin we'd stay at every year for the holidays. We'd go sledding and then come in and eat soup and drink hot chocolate. I think that was probably my favorite christmas memory - spending time with my family up in the mountains.
