Hello!
I have been hanging around and reading the many helpful posts in the forum for a few years, and thought I should stop by and say Hi.
I have been making soap, hand salve, and lip balm for quite a few years as a way to help with my daughters and my rather dry and sensitive skin. About 5 years ago I started selling at local craft fairs and my soap-making has progressed from sharing a space with another vendor and selling a few bars each show, to now having my own booth as well as permanent placement in two area stores. It has been an interesting learning experience, especially trying to understand what people purchase versus what I think they might want. A couple of years ago I added some hot process and shaving soap to the products I make.
