hi,
My CP soap has weird white spots embedded in the middle only. This is the first time i have had this issue, doesn't look like soda ash. Would anyone be able to tell me if they are stearic spots or what.
my recipe is..
60z coconut oil
4oz shea butter
11oz olive oil
1oz castor oil
2oz hemp seed oil
4oz almond oil
1tsp sodium lactate
0.88oz chocolate fragrance
lye 3.86oz
water 7.83oz
SF at 5%

thank you

Thank you . Apologies as i am new here and don’t exactly know how this works.
Correct me if i am wrong but this is not the intro forum right?

thanks

Those look like stearic spots that formed where the soap had a partial gel.

I honestly don't know what causes them to form or how to prevent them. I also get them at times.
Doesn't affect the soap at all, its just a cosmetic issue.
