My, that sounds a lot like Switzerland. I grew up in Switzerland and our farm was called Hasli, isn't that a coincidence????????

I have several Oberhasli-breed dairy goats. They are wonderful and I am constantly amazed by Swiss agricultural excellence. Did you know that the first animal registry was in Switzerland and they were recording Toggenburg, Sannen, and Oberhasli dairy goats? Its so cool! Of course my Obies are quite Americanized. I am having the opportunity, however, to work with some very Swiss genetics and even some directly from Switzerland. We are in North Carolina (US)
