Hello,
This Forum has already been so useful, thanks to everyone for the support and information. I make soap in Rwanda and Thailand and try to use local supplies and materials hence the username. We are drying some avocado pulp today to make our first avocado oil. Avocado is really cheap in Rwanda and we can get pounds of it for only a couple of US dollars. In Thailand I use rice bran oil and coconut oil a lot and use bamboo and banana leaves for molds. I look forward to being part of the forum.

Hello and welcome to the forum. Rwanda and Thailand? That sounds interesting. Do you live part time in both countries? The idea of using leaves as molds is intriguing. I, too, would love to see them. I'm looking forward to seeing more posts (and some photos?) from you.
