Hello, my name is Delondra. I'm a young gal from Alabama who is just eager to learn about stuff around me and just stuff in general. I joined this forum to expand my knowledge of soap. I want to learn how to make my own. We use soap everyday, so why not learn about it.

Be sure to ask all your questions. There are no stupid questions, and I guarantee that there is someone else new out there wondering the same thing, but is too shy to ask. So, you help more than just yourself by asking. Lots of folks here who are happy to help.

Welcome. There is a great site you can check out for proven recipes. www.millersoap.com. Lots of good recipes and information, but it is always recommended you run any recipe through a soap calculator. soapcalc.net is a good one to learn to use. Try to stick with the same calc

Hello and welcome. When I first started looking into making soap I actually found this site and another one and read every single post topic. I spent about 6 months before making my first batch. I wanted to have as much information as possible. That's just how I am. Also reputable youtube videos are awesome too.
