You can use that if you’d like. I stick to whatever is cheapest on their shelf and have never had an issue. (I buy most of my oils from Walmart)

I have used that and it works fine. Do you have a Big Lots? They have 101 oz containers for $13.
Yes, that brand works just fine. But I vote with @violets2217 on Big Lots. Best price anywhere. If you spend $50 you get free shipping, too.

I do have a big lots near me. I'll have to check that out. I never would have thought to look there! 
So just to be clear, is it the pure refined stuff that I should get for CP soap? Not raw or virgin?

This is the Big Lots Coconut Oil that I buy.
I also use the CO from Big Lots.
No reason to buy the pricey stuff for soap. The Sap value and fatty acid profile is the same. The lye interacts with it just the same. You don't eat soap, so why buy raw or virgin?
I agree with Earlene. Unless you are selling and your brand focuses on organic ingredients, there is no reason to pay extra for organic oils. If you have concerns about personal exposure to unhealthy substances, my understanding is that coconuts aren't GMO and aren't sprayed with pesticides. That leaves only the refining process as a potential concern, which you should research to see if that is of importance to you.
