We ordered some more melt and pour. The 5 lb of honey soap base, the 2 1 lb bricks of goats milk base, and - small tub of Shea butter. What’s a good % of these to go together? Shea shouldn’t be more then 20% correct? Maybe half and half of the two bases then the 20% Shea?

With melt and pour, you can usually only add 1 or maybe 2 tsps oil per pound of base.
The base you ordered should have instructions with the amount of additives and scent you should use, if not, email the supplier and ask.

If you’re asking about mixing the bases themselves... experiment away. Melt and pour is a complete soap on its own and there is no need to add anything else to make a working soap.

when we give advice about 20% Shea or 50% whatever it’s usually for cold/hot process. CP/HP are starting from scratch where certain ingredients can determine the final outcome of the soap quality. M&P doesn’t need as much nitpicking.
