Goat Milk soap base

Hi, I was trying to make goat milk soap base with the goat milk powder.. My understanding is that the 0.5% of the goat milk powder is to be added but the question is at which stage should I add the milk powder and how should I add it, does it need to be first dissolved in some water and then to be added? and at what stage?

Dissolve the milk powder in a little hot water and add it after the M&P base has melted. You may have to heat the mixture again for just a few seconds in the microwave, to make sure the milk powder/water is fully incorporated into the M&P base.

ill add it with hot water, but when do I add it, when my base is ready, at the last stage? ( I am not using a ready made base, am making a goat milk base from scratch..)

Oh, I didn't understand that you were making your own M&P base. If you are hot processing the base, I would add it at the end of the cook.
