Can I just sub out GM in place of water and follow the same process? Like you pretty much do in soap. Or do I have to do something different I want to use fresh milk not powdered.
TIA

I have heard that for safety (so microbes do not grow, even with a preservative) to keep your GM to under 12% of total recipe. Using aloe juice for the rest of the water-based ingredients is a nice option too. I have never made a lotion so cannot comment from experience. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Ok when using fresh milk-- cow or goats-- isnt the shelf life only 1 month and has to be kept in the frig?
