Anyone used glow i the dark mica from NS, or elsewhere? Will it still work mixed with other micas, or would it lose it’s glowiness?
I have never used it in CP soap making but I have used it for making nail polish and it will lose its glow mixed with other colors. I am pretty sure that I read some posts of people who used it in soap but I don't remember their results.

I wanted to get it soooo bad for a nightmare before christmas soap, for the moon, but my computer stopped working so i had to get a new one and everything in my cart was gone and i forgot to put it in my cart the second time... I was SO upstet :(

@goat soap rulz! I wish I’d gotten a bigger size! I’m gonna use it outside of Halloween too. I love it!
@cerelife I’ve GOT to start reading those descriptions more carefully! I should just print them out when I get something new. Thank you!
@Todd Ziegler I mixed 1/1/2t glow in the dark and 1/2t of a light color. Charged it up and it glowed great!

I just ordered more! Moons and stars and all kinds of fun stuff! I’ll try it without mixing it with pigment next time.
To clarify, in the batches you've done so far, NOT mixing the GITD pigment with colors created more dramatic glow effect. Mixing GITD with other pigments muted the GITD effects, but it still glowed.

I've used the gitd from mad mica with good success.

You can see an example of it, swirled with batter that had regular white mica here:
https://www.soapmakingforum.com/threads/glow-in-the-dark.80297/
i also used it mixed with non glow white mica for a subtle, scattered effect in a marble soap as well.
I'm really looking forward to using it to do a transformation moon effect soap soon.

I’m not sure if it muted or not, this is my only try so far. Seems like the one I mixed with yellow glows more than the one I mixed with green, but it could be the design. So, I’ll try it in plain batter next go round, to test.

I just ordered some this past weekend. I can't wait to soap with it. I bought some ghost molds so I can make little glow in the dark ghosts. I have a Halloween design that I've been wanting to make and I can't wait to mix in the glow in the dark. :)
ooOOH you reminded me that I have halloween molds with ghosties! I really need to make some halloween MP this weekend.
