Getting rid of seams on taper candles

Can anyone tell me the best way of getting rid of seams in taper candles after using plastic two piece molds? Thx.

I know this is an old thread, and the OP might not be a part of the forum anymore, but if anyone else is curious as to how to get rid of seems on candles, I have found this type of ceramic/pottery tool to work the best.
I'm only answering because it seems this candle forum is getting a little bit of activity and this mya help someone.

I use this tool to remove the seems from my hurricane shells.

ETA: It would probably help if I added the actual pic of the tool. LOL

I use the same tools for doing fine detail cleanup on soaps. Also used them for the one carved soap I did. I can see where they'd work well with wax.
