Yes, I always freeze my aloe. Are you using bought juice or fresh made? If using the bought juice, you can use it for 100% of the liquid. It doesn't react badly with lye.
 
I prefer the bottled juice, just for ease of use. I have used fresh and don't see much difference between it and bottled besides the time it takes to prepare fresh.

Aloe is a great additive, my favorite liquid by far. Adds to the lather and has no reaction or bad smells when mixing with lye.
 
I'm going to try soaping with AV for liquid above my lye 50/50. Can I freeze any leftover for future use?

Yes, I froze Aloe Vera juice in ice cube sizes, them bagged them & kept in the freezer. A gallon of aloe vera juice is a lot of juice and might take a while to use up, so I did not want that huge jug in my refrigerator. Besides frozen in baggies, it will last a lot longer and can easily be moved around to make space as needed.
