Ok, my Google-fu isn't working this morning. I'm trying to find out whether or not I should be adding Polysorbate 80 along with my fragrance oils to liquid soap. And, if (as I assume) the answer is yes, is it equal parts PS80 and FO?

I know I've read it somewhere before but I can't find it so before I drive myself crazy (a short drive, believe me), I figured I'd just ask.

Not all LS is the same (I know... DUH!). Ditto fragrances. So it's best to add FO or EO to a sample of the diluted LS first to determine whether or not you need to use Polysorbate 80 or 20 (both work just as well) to incorporate it. More often than not, you won't need it.

Be sure to warm the LS to 60°C/ 140°F to make it easier to incorporate.

is it equal parts PS80 and FO?
For EOs/FOs it's 1 part fragrance to 3-4 parts PS80. OR
1 teaspoon fragrance to 1 Tablespoon PS80

I add the PS80 to water; stir until clear; add the fragrance; stir. Allow to sit for a bit. If it forms an oil slick, you need to add more PS80.
