Can you line a mp mold with plastic and pour it in? I was looking at some molds and it said you could do this if you wanted to use cp in a sheet mold.

I have, but it leaves little wrinkles on the bottom.

I use a plastic cheese box for a mold and line with wax paper.

Do you mean cavity molds. If so they do not have to be lined just use them as is.

Well I've tried that before and the soap never came out of the mold just kinda stuck together and had to throw out that mold. I was just reading about it and curious. Thanks guys

I grease my cavity molds with mineral oil. It doesn't saponify so the soaps usually pop out with very little coaxing.....even after you accidentally melt the molds (LOL).

Try sticking the mold in the freezer for about 30 minutes. The CP soap will pop right out.

No lining, no mineral oil, no nothing.
