First attempt at a few things

First attempt at own recipe and charcoal line.

Recipe is:
20% CO
15% MB
45% OO
20% RBO

added rose clay and clary sage EO to first part and molded, sprinkled with AC then added a spoonful of paprika infused OO for colour and Brazilian red orange EO to the second part and put on top.

Fresh out of the mold .. smells sooo good!

Not quite the look I was aiming for but happy with it. Be interesting to see the colour when it's cured for a few weeks.

What's wrong with it?

Technically there's nothing wrong with it and I do like it .. it's just not the way I planned it. I wanted the colours on either side of the line to be of equal portions and because I premeasured the clay to go in a smaller portion it isn't as dark as it was supposed to be.

I could have sworn I had the same amount of mix in each container but I think the shape of the container played a trick on me.
