Hey soapers... finally took the first step
Made soap yesterday with veg shortening, co and Oo, added 1/4 tea spoon salt to the cooled lye water. Added a spoon of vegan whipping cream at last step.
no essential, no color no fragrance...

The mould used was a metal bread mould... it rained heavily so kept the mould in a wardrobe wrapped in a blanket. After few hours it went very hot n can see it gel the centre raised up too.

First thing in the morn it was quiet solid and so removed and cut into pieces... it's a beautiful white... can't see the transparent thing which happens while gelling... here r the pics..

Some metal bread mold could be made from aluminum. And aluminum can react with lye so should be avoided. Better check if its stainless steel.
