favourite scent Blends

Hi all, I don't think I have seen a post with everyones favourit scent blends.

So what are you favourite blend?
i.e
2 parts Eucalyptus
1 part lavender

After swirling that is the next thing I intend to work on. But way back when I took a soap class we blended vanilla, lavendar and patchouli. I tried to duplicate it at home but it just didn't smell as good. I probably had different brands.

I'm always happy to share! These are all my own blends, but I'm sure that someone somewhere has come up with this combo before since there are only so many essential oils out there.

for bathroom spray:
2parts clove bud oil
1part cassia oil
3part lavender
3part eucalyptus
6part litsea
3part teatree
2parts natural peppermint

I know there's a lot going on there but it's absolutely amazing!

A nice blend for massage oil is:

3 parts 5fold orange
2 parts ylang-ylangIII(that's the cheapest and most woody smelling)
1 part patchouli

another eo blend I'm enjoying lately is

3parts lavender
3parts eucalyptus
1 or 2 parts cedar(depends on the cedar(
1part black pepper


Also,
Mojito

6parts lime
2part spearmint
2part natural peppermint
1part black pepper

The one i just used was 1:1 orange sweet and Mandarin Red...smelled like an orange creamsicle mmm mmm

I love ylang ylang (dark) with a touch of lavender. I use this blend in soaps, massage oils, creams and room sprays. I just can't get enough of it.

A popular soap of mine is a chamomile & Lavender FO with about half as much bergamot. The men in my family love it.

2 parts ylang ylang

1 part mandarin
2 parts bergamot

Wow, some interesting blends there.

I'm only new to this scent blending and tried the following which is quite nice.

2 parts Gargenia
1 part Frangipani
1 part Vanilla

Quite unusual but interesting.

I'm chasing a website or 2 websites that can explain the following
Fragrance Oils : Properties ie scent type and are they top, mid or base notes.
Essential Oils: What healling, relaxing etc properties they have.
