I was asked how I determine shelf life dates for my M&P-base soaps, the other day.
Since I have no idea how new the oils used in my bases are, I set my 'best if used by' dates 6-12 months (depending upon my additives) from when I've ordered my M&P bases.
With my bodycare items, I keep very close track of oil shelf life, but I'd never really given this too much consideration, with M&P, to be honest. Does anyone do this, or have a different way to recommend?
