Does anyone have experience of a new product call Eurosoy 800? It is 100% soy wax from soy grown in Europe that is GMO free. It is supplied by Poth Hille and I have an email from their chemist assuring me that it is safe for cosmetic use. She also provided me with a safety data sheet. It comes in block form rather than flakes. Just wondered if anyone has used this for soap making yet, as in the description for its use in candle making it says it is harder than other waxes. Up until now I have been using Naturewax C 3.

Ok, I've ordered some and will report back on how I get on...(singing 'All by Myself' to myself )

I've had blocks in the past and they break up easily with a sharp knife!

You gave me an idea and I think I might get a sample of this so thank you.

Nothing interesting just thinking of restating candle making as returning my most recent soap.

I kind of miss candles...

Made a test batch today. It behaves just the same as Naturewax C3 and uncoloured is a nice light shade (a bit more creamy yellow than the photo shows). I'm happy:)
