I have a high dollar Digital thermometer and the Etekcity is within 2 numbers of it. From my test.
I guess time will tell. At 205 deg over a hot cup of water it was off 16. But I think the steam may have played a part, I'm not sure. But at 50 ,100 and 126 deg checks it was right on the money. within 2 numbers.
I'm still gathering my arsenal for soap making. I'm almost there : )
