Essential oil dilute

I’ve read When using pure essential oils in cps I need to dilute it . How do I do that? by mixing it with another oil such as olive oil Orr??? Still new at making cps i want to make sure I’m not gong to waste my essential oil & over do it with the scent

I never heard that. I add mine at light trace undiluted.
Edit: Hard to overdo essential oil scent in CP at safe usages.

How much essential oil do you use per LB ?

You are diluting it when you add it to your soap. You don't have to dilute it before adding it to your soap, lotion, scrub etc. All EO/FO needs to be diluted before adding it to the skin. So, if making perfume you need to mix it with oil or perfumers alcohol.

Just another plug for www.eocalc.com -- wish I'd had known about it years ago! I only use essential oils to scent my soaps and have learned that recommended 'high' rates last longest.
