Hello, I want to make Epsom salt soap with a melt and pour base. I know you can use seas salt, but wondering if anyone has any experience doing this.
Does the salt dissolve? Or do I need a suspension base? What's the ratio, should I just follow the same % as oils?

Also does anyone know the benefits?
Any help would be great appreciated

It’s generally not recommended to use Epsom salts in soap. They tend to attract water and get sweaty. I think it’s something with the magnesium. It I don’t remember the science.

if you’d like to try it and see how it works/practice with additives I’d recommend about a tablespoon per pound of base. You don’t necessarily need a suspension base but it does make it a bit easier.
