EO fixative?

I’m not opposed to synthetic fragrances. But, I haven’t found any yet that I like. I’ll keep looking (smelling). But are there any natural or synthetic fixatives that can help hold the EOs in the soap?
Also, is there a different essential oil calculator than eocal? It is missing so many oils!
 
Litsea cubeba and lemongrass are good fixatives for citrus EOs. Using a long-lasting base note can help prolong fragrance.

Some people use kaolin clay as an EO fixative by soaking the clay in the EO mix for a bit before blending it in. The evidence regarding efficacy is anecdotal, and many people don't believe it helps at all. I think it does, but again, it's based on my personal experience alone, and many others don't have that same experience.
