EO and FO questions

Can i combine fragrance oils and essential oils in a recipe? I've only made really basic recipes so far with only 1 EO or FO added but I'd like to get creative.

Yes - I combine them quite frequently

As far as I can gather, it's up to you what you choose to do!! The only thing that can be tricky is that some blends will trace really quickly. Keep good notes of your blends and the results.

I did pachouli, "peace & calming"(eo) and vanilla, it worked, not too fragrant, not a good seller, but , yes it works.

Many fragrance oils contian some essentail oil already.

I think the general consensus is blend away but keep notes.
Also, a good tip is to soak a cotton ball in what blend you are making, put it in a ziploc bag and shut it, then re-open the next day and see if you like the scent. It saves wasting a heap of e/o's and f/o's and then finding out you don't like it.
