Hello,
I am new to this forum and a beginner soap and lotion maker. This seem like a wonderful and valuable resource. Thank you all for sharing your experiences. I was trying to research weather or not I can use an emulsifying wax to further thicken my cold process liquid hand soap. I have made the soap paste used a salt solution when adding water to it but it is still fairly thin consisentcey. I would have to try adding the melted emulsifying wax to the finished liquid hand soap paste once I have mixed it with water. Has anyone tried this previously and have they had any success??

In my opinion stearic acid would be a better choice.
