How and where do people dry their soap after cutting it up?

I've got mine in the garage on wire racks from an old fridge, but I think the air is too moist and delays the drying process.

What are your thoughts?

I sometimes use a wire rack. Its actually a mini-shelf from wally world, but I have two and they work pretty well. Now I have some soap sittine in a wooden slab mold, spaced out. It just depends.

I have a spare bedroom that I use for storage. One part of it has shelves. I put down wax paper and stand the bars on edge. Our climate here (Los Angeles) is mild to warm and fairly dry so I leave the window open much of the time which provides air circulation. I think it's a pretty good setup.
