I was wondering if anyone here has any experience or ideas when it comes to making dreadlock wax. I have 'baby' dreads...they are only a little over 3 months old....not locking yet (well, in spots they are). I want to make a wax for rolling them after they are clean and dry. I have plenty of beeswax beads, coconut oil, hemp oil, pko, mango butter, cocoa butter......
I want to try patchouli and orange eos for fragrance.;-)

Try 3 parts wax/1 Part Butter/1 part Coconut Oil (or Hemp if you prefer) with 2% EO's (2 parts Orange to 1 part Patchouli)
I would avoid PKO
You basically want a stiff salve consistency (like pomade)...if the formula above is too hard, remelt it and add just a little more oil to soften it up.
Let me know how it works for you!
