Dog skin pH

So i had a request to make some dog soap for a sensitive skinned little guy and i've been doing some research....i keep hearing "dogs have a different skin pH than people..." so i went looking and found this very interesting link:

i did ask my vet about using/making a shampoo for dogs and he wasnt' crazy concerened about it. he liked the fact that i had used tea tree and lavender to heal my dog and clean his wound.(didn't use straight by the way)

he said just be careful with amount of eo/scent.
