I want to make a simple beeswax salve to use on my dogs crusty feet, any suggestions on how much liquid oil to add to make a spreadable consistency?

I'm planning on making some this coming week.. I'll let you know what I end up with :)

Yup... I would suggest a 4:1 also because winter is coming....keep it spreadable, but still solid-ish.

And I would just use beeswax and coconut oil (Like the GOOD stuff, Extra Virgin - that smells and tastes like coconut).

:)

No coconut oil, my dogs would never leave their feet alone lol. I used soy because its so neutral smelling and tasting. I've tried some on my hands and am very surprised at how well it soaks in and the dogs don't seem interested in it at all.
I tried using a bit of my beeswax foot salve on them last night but it has lime EO in it and all they wanted to do was eat it.
