Does everyone zap?

I tongued (yes I'm using that lol) all of my soap when I was a noob, but now I only do it on my CP if I think I miscalculated after a couple of days of being cut, like it's just "weird" with a recipe that I've made lots of times without error. I still zap 100% of my HP though, it's almost ritual lol.
 
I don't zap test anymore. I have proven recipes--one for soaps that will discolor, one for white soaps, and I can't imagine that either will go drastically wrong enough to require a zap test, considering they are solid and proven.
I wait a week and then wash with a sliver. So far, so good.
 
I do not know why but I feel compelled to zap test my HP soap. I do not test my CP soap. I think because I feel safer that the HP is not going to zap me LOL. I cure at least 2-3 months before trying my soap. I guess I am not willing to injure my tongue unless it is a pretty sure thing :think:
