Every once in awhile the local store has those tiny bottles of eo on sale and I pick up something new to see if I like it.

This time it was bergamot and now I'm wondering if it fades in CP like most other citrus?
I really like it straight up, nice and sharp without being bitter.

I wonder what NS' Afternoon Tea would smell like with a little bergamot EO. If I could trust it not to fade, I'd try that in a heartbeat.

If you want to try it in soap, try HP (or I guess M&P would work as well).. I haven't used bergamot yet, but in my experience the 'fresh' notes of citrus EOs survive better in HP. Blood orange (not folded) stuck for about 9months to a year in HP and lemongrass smells completely different (a lot fresher) in HP than in CP.
