Hi soapy friends! šŸ§¼ Today I made a Dead Sea Salt cold process soap batch with activated charcoal. I used 8th & Ocean FO from Nurture Soap .6oz in my 20oz oil batch... 5oz dead sea salt in each color, so 10 oz total. My liquids were 50/50 distilled water and aloe juice. And they were 7.60 oz and not 6.6 oz because i had 1oz aloe juice to reconstitute my coconut milk but still that's not too much water... so I'm stumped.

Here's my recipe and I soaped at 85 degrees. Everything was roses until this weeping 6 hours later... šŸ¤· What did i do wrong?

Dead sea salt can't be used in soap, the mineral content is too high. It always will make mushy, weepy soap.
Sorry to say but it trash, nothing will save it. Next time use plain sea salt or non iodized table salt

Like Obsidian stated, dead sea salt can't be used. Sadly you're going to have to toss it. Also, salt soap needs high CO, it wouldn't have been a very good soap to begin with. Use at least 80%. I don't use butters in my salt soap (some do), I find it inhibits the lather. My recipe is 80% CO, 15% Avocado and 5% Castor.
