Hi everyone

Am looking to have a go at making some CP soap for a hobby. Still amassing the supplies to make it and busy reading all I can before I start

Hey and welcome! Do yourself a favor and go to the Beginner section and read all the stickies and at least the first 5 pages. It will help tremendously!

Welcome, it took me 6 months of research and collecting information before I made my first soap, don't be in too much of a hurry. The supplies, I collected along the way.

Right here, silly!
Welcome, Nutterly!

It was more like a year of reading/research for me before I made my first batch (because I was very scared of lye).

Welcome to the forum.
I did it bass ackwards. I did the coconut oil soap with 20% SF in a small crockpot first and then started doing the research.
Would have worked out better if I would have read more first but then again I'm a man and I can change if I have to. I guess ( red & green).

I'm also a man, but I prefer to know what I'm looking at before doing something like making soap! [emoji39]

Thanks everyone.
I am still here. I have just been working my way through all the beginner forum, made much slower with a dodgy internet connection!

Supplies have started to arrive and this week is looking good for the start :)
