I do the same as Shari. If the soap is cloudy and you want a clear (or clearer) soap, it can be helpful to let the soap sit for as long as needed to let the solids settle out or float to the surface. Then skim off any floaters or pour the clear soap off the sediment. If clarity is not an issue, the soap is fine to use as long as it is zap free.
 
I've been using the cold process liquid soap making and I love it! It always seems to volcano so I beat the daylights out it till it goes back down, cover it and let it sit for at least 24 hours and then dilute. Mine is ready to use right away. It does seem to get milder after it's sat (diluted) for a few weeks though.
