Curing question

I have been mulling soap making over in my head for years now and about to dive in. One thing I have not found an answer for, actually the only thing, is this: is curing better at room temp or refrigerated. Is there a set temp to increase the quality of the soap during the curing process.

Cure at room temperature and make sure the bars can get air. I have a curing rack that I stack them on while curing. The first week or 2 I rotate and turn my soaps as well while curing. Shoe boxes are also good to store and cure soaps in.

I never understood the whole refrigeration thing. I just let mine sit on a rack for a few weeks. I do DW, so I have a little less cusing time than most.

I only use refrigeration when I want to avoid gel or when I use honey or milk which are heat accelerants and can cause your soap to get too hot and the oils separate.
