How long should you let you cold process soap cure for? I put my soap in the oven for 1 hour after i've made it to speed up the process. Then I put it in sterile rubbermaid bins for one week to let it finish doing its thing. Do you think that is long enough for the curing process?

Cold Process is suppose to cure for 4 - 6 weeks on the shelf. If you want a quicker process than you can make HP soap which can be used almost immediately..

You leaving it in the mold for a week does not help speed up the process.

Your unmolded or cut soaps should be put somewhere open and airy, not in rubber bins. Part of the curing process is having them dry out so they will last longer. Whilst they are safe to use in a shorter time than 4-6 weeks they will certainly last longer the more they are cured.
