I have made a batch of coffee soap.I think I was a bit on hurry and it was not mixed as it should have been.(also it was in a bit liquid form when I was pouring it into the mold)And after I take it from the mold,I saw white substance on the soap. Can I rebatch it?What is that white thing on it.Let's say it is lye,can I rebatch it and save that amount of soap?
thanks in advance for all the help...

Is the white stuff only on the top that is exposed to air or is it mingled throughout the batch?

The powdery white stuff on top is ash and is ugly but harmless. You can get that off with a damp cloth

If there are white flecks (or small particles) throughout the soap that very well may be lye and you'll need to rebatch. But, also get a 2nd opinion - I discovered this weekend that rebatching is a pain....avoid if possible.
