Crazy Ash...

Seriously the craziest ash I have had yet. These are some long fuzzy crystals. Feel like I am in geology class in college again...

Pretty soap though love your swirls. I've only had ash like that once. Salt bars that ashed all the way around so thick you couldn't get it off. Those were in individual molds that I didn't cover and even when unmolded the other side ashed too. You could plane it off or wipe it off. Otherwise, just embrace it.
 
I don't mind it, just awed by it.

Thanks for the compliment! It's a little light in color than what I had planned, I am still pretty new to this coloring thing.
 
That's pretty bizarre. It reminds me of the ash people were posting in the supper lye soap thread.
 
I froze it after 48 hours cure to try and get it out and I think the condensation as it was cooling was lye heavy. I could feel it when I was cutting. I think I will wait a while before trying to zap test this one! Lol!
