Just made another batch of soap today and the top is cracking. I'm 99.9% sure it is due to heat. ( soaped at 110 degrees) Normally I refrigerate my soap to prevent gel phase, but decided not to this time. I guess I should have. It's been 6 hours and I was wondering if it is too late to refrigerate and if I did would it make the cracking worse? The center is very dark and the mold is still pretty warm ( my husband bought me a new plexi glass mold, which is contributing to the heat, I'm sure. Any advice would be most welcome! Thanks!
