CPNP

Hi, I am trying to get my soap all legal to sell. I live in Scotland so do I register with the CPNP in Europe and the Gov.uk or just Gov.uk? Brexit got me confused. Any help will be much appreciated.

I think Brexit has everyone confused. As I understand things, you can only register on the UK portal but if you plan to sell to customers in Europe (from Etsy for example) you need to have a 'Responsible Person' who is based in Europe. My advice would be to seek advice from your safety assessor, I know of at least one that offers a 'Responsible Person' service but I don't know the costs involved.
