Hello.
If anyone makes soy milk based soaps (as opposed to water) in CP, how long would you say it usually lasts? Soy milk doesn't have a very long shelf life and I wonder if the soap gets affected by that.
Thank you

I always have soy milk in the house but have never used it in soap. There's too much other stuff in it that sounds like it wouldn't be good in soap. Coconut milk, goat milk - go for it. Soy milk - I dunno.

ETA - search soy milk soap and you will see that people do use it as a full substitute for water. Perhaps the versions they use are a purer form that what i can get here. or perhaps they don't mind that there's lots of other stuff in there besides soy.

I've read elsewhere that it makes for a gentle soap. Plus the lack of lactose and other sugars in the unsweetened version helps prevent overheating.

Thanks. Yours seems to have more in the list.
I tried it...
The soap smells like soy milk. Lol. It's uncanny.
Now I just need to know how long it'll last.
