Coffee..

My husband asked me to make a coffee expresso wake up bar as he loves coffee. I read about heating beans and oil to use, but wondering what the best EO etc is to use? Watching and reading a lot so there are many options wondering about experienced posters here have w coffee soaps. Thank you.

I am assuming you want coffee-scented soap? If so, you will have to go to a FO (fragrance oil) vs EO (essential oil). Coffee Bean Oil is $34 for 2 oz at Eden Botanical. So possibly you could do a very small batch - 16 oz of oils - and use it there?

Or you can look for a good FO - it's almost as difficult as coconut. BB's Espresso is popular here.

I have noticed it is expensive....and EO in general seems to be the main thing to impact price of soaps. .

Yes, scent is the most expensive part of most soap recipes. Some EOs are inexpensive - comparable to FOs. But some are very pricey!
