Hi all,
I'm currently working on a new body scrub for my Etsy shop. It contains coffee grounds, activated charcoal, sweet almond oil, and vanilla extract. It will be in a sealed jar. My question is, how long do you reckon its shelf life is, or before bacteria becomes an issue? Sweet almond oil has a shelf life of 1 year before it spoils, so less than that of course. I use it before shelf life even comes into question, but for my customers' sake, it's good to know.

Thanks!

Most people figure the shelf-life of a product by the ingredient that has the shortest shelf-life. Including and organic product such as coffee grounds can dramitically reduce shelf life.
