Today I made Coconut Milk and I was wondering if the residual coconut pulp could be used in soap? TIA

I have never used coconut milk but I would recommend straining it because the little pieces of coconut won't melt.

I'm sure someone more knowledgeable about the coconut milk will chime im.

The coconut milk is strained really well so I'm not too concerned about that. I plan on freezing some or all of the milk for a future soap but it's the pulp I'm asking about. Someone suggested I dehydrate it then it can be used in a soap. I guess it would be somewhat of a pumice but I'm thinking less than something like salt or coffee grounds. I'm a newbie so this was a thought that bubbled up while I was doing it.

I missed this post. I would just add some of the pulp to your batter. I don't think I'd dehydrate it. See what happens. I add wet coffee grinds, people add ground up aloe......

Thanks... It's actually very soft and I think drying would make it much more coarse.
