Cleaning bottles before filling

Hey there!

I make an after shave spash that I bottle in 4 oz Boston round glass bottles. I’m planning to sell it at a fair and was wondering if there’s a proper way to clean bottles that come straight from the manufacturer or if I even need to. Optically they’re always very clean when they arrive, and my formula is 60% pure grain alcohol. So I’m not really concerned about bacteria. But maybe I should be?

Thoughts would be appreciated!

I usually spray all of my containers with 70% rubbing alcohol and allow to air dry.

I do the same. I have to ask if you have permits for selling high alcohol products. This comes under restrictions set forth by the AFT. https://www.atf.gov/
