How can Dead sea mud and Marine mud powder be included in CP soapmaking. And how good are they jn soaps.

I googled and found lots of ads for soap containing dead sea mud. It is supposed to contain lots of minerals.

I've used the mud too, that's why I asked. I've also used it in a soleseife, so not my usual HP. That thread should be in the gallery somewhere.
I used it just like any other additive, added it to my oils and stick blended it. I didn't allow for any water though, I just guesstimated and adjusted my lye ratio a very little bit. My mud is really thick.
I can't definitely say that using the mud in soap is beneficial to the skin, but I can say that it is lovely soap to use lol

What I have read is that dead sea mud contains so many minerals that it could introduce DOS. But also it interferes with the results of the soap in such as way as to cause weeping, making the soap very crumbly, and more.
Here are some threads addressing the use of dead sea salt in soap (although most seem to have had various problems with it, there are a couple who use it, so read carefully what they advise.):

But it appears from what I have read that DSS should only be used in very small amounts, and that you should first make several batches of soap without it before attempting to add it to your soaps, so you will know what your soap should be like first. That way when you do add it, you can tell the difference it makes. Pay close attention to what @cmzaha posts about the way she uses Dead Sea Salt.
