Chocolate Peppermint Swirl (sorta swirl)

This was My CP practice last night, it's much darker in person I think the flash lightened it to much. (I have to get a camera and build a light box) Its a Chocolate peppermint swirl. It smells like a candy cane since I added only peppermint EO and just used cocoa butter after trace and colored it with cocoa powder.

I think I added a bit so much powder (2 tsp per LB of oil) because washing up the pot the bubbles were brown. It also didn't swirl as much as I had hoped but I Was kinda afraid of over mixing so I went light. It was my first swirl attempt.

My house now smell like the inside of a candy cane...

That looks great! I like the wavy type layers of the swirls. It may not be what you wanted but I like it.

I used a chop stick and when back and forth and then the long way, is there another technique that would give me a different "swooshy" type swirl?

You could use a spoon and do a figure eight all the way along the length of the mould.
